Article Abstract
Welding without proper protection was associated with syndromes of parkinsonism, multifocal myoclonus, mild cognitive impairment, and vestibular-auditory dysfunction. The MRI T1 hyperintensity in the basal ganglia suggests that these may have been caused by manganese neurotoxicity.
